Quickstart

SoxAI is fully OpenAI-compatible. If you already use the OpenAI SDK, switching to SoxAI requires two changes:

1. Set the base URL to https://api.soxai.io/v1
2. Replace the API key with your SoxAI token

Choose your language to get started:

• Python — Using the openai Python library
• Node.js — Using the openai npm package
• cURL — Raw HTTP requests
• Go — Using github.com/sashabaranov/go-openai
• CLI Tools — Codex CLI, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenCode

Prerequisites

1. Create an account at console.soxai.io
2. Generate an API token in the Console under Settings → API Tokens
3. Top up your balance under Billing → Top Up (minimum $1.00)

Get Your Token

In the Console, navigate to API Tokens and click Create Token. You can scope tokens to specific models, set per-token spending limits, and add IP allowlists.

Your token will look like:

sox-a1b2c3d4e5f6...

Keep it secret — treat it like a password.
