Introducing SoxAI — the unified AI API gateway for teams and enterprises

SoxAI Team·

Welcome to SoxAI

We're excited to announce the public launch of SoxAI — an enterprise-grade AI API gateway that gives teams unified access to 40+ AI providers through a single OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Whether you're using GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, or any of the hundreds of models we support, SoxAI makes it as simple as a single API call.

What Is SoxAI?

SoxAI is built for teams that demand reliability, flexibility, and control over their AI infrastructure. Instead of managing API keys, rate limits, and failover logic for each provider individually, SoxAI acts as a smart proxy layer — handling routing, billing, quota enforcement, and observability for you.

Key capabilities include:

  • Unified API: One OpenAI-compatible endpoint for all providers. Your existing OpenAI SDK code works without modification.
  • Smart Routing: Automatic failover, load balancing, and health-scored channel selection keep your requests flowing even when a provider is down.
  • Multi-Tenant Support: Full white-label support with custom domains and isolated data per tenant — ideal for building AI-powered SaaS products.
  • Fine-Grained Quotas: Set per-user, per-team, and per-group limits across multiple time windows (hourly, daily, weekly).
  • Full Observability: OpenTelemetry traces, Prometheus metrics, and per-request audit logs give you complete visibility into your AI usage.

Getting Started

Getting started with SoxAI takes just a few minutes:

  1. Create an account at console.soxai.io
  2. Generate an API key from the dashboard
  3. Point your client at https://api.soxai.io/v1 and start making requests

Your existing OpenAI SDK code works immediately — just swap the base URL and API key. No other changes required.

What's Next

We're just getting started. Over the coming months, we'll be rolling out support for more models, enhanced analytics dashboards, a self-hosted deployment option for enterprises, and deeper integrations with popular frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.

We'd love to hear what you're building. Reach out at [email protected] or join the conversation on GitHub.
