Add credits to your SoxAI balance to use the API
Top Up
Add credits to your balance before making API requests. SoxAI requires a positive balance to process requests.
Top Up via Console
Console: Billing → Top Up
- Select the amount ($10, $25, $50, $100, or custom)
- Click Proceed to Payment
- Enter your payment details on the secure Stripe checkout page
- After payment, credits are added to your balance immediately
Minimum top-up amount: $5.00
Accepted Payment Methods
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- Apple Pay, Google Pay
- Bank transfer (Enterprise plans, minimum $500)
Payments are processed by Stripe. SoxAI does not store credit card information.
Auto Top-Up
Enable automatic balance refills to avoid service interruptions:
Console: Billing → Auto Top-Up → Enable
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Threshold | Trigger a top-up when balance falls below this amount |
| Amount | How much to add when the threshold is hit |
| Payment method | Saved card to charge |
Example: Threshold $10, Amount $50 → when balance drops below $10, automatically charge $50 and add it to your balance.
Vouchers
Redeem a voucher code to add credits without a payment:
Console: Billing → Redeem Voucher → Enter code
Vouchers have expiry dates. Unused voucher credit expires with the voucher.
Tenant Billing
For multi-tenant deployments:
- Each tenant has an independent balance
- The tenant owner or billing admin tops up the tenant balance
- Individual users draw from the tenant balance (not their personal balance)
- Tenant admins can set per-user spending limits to control how much of the tenant balance each user can consume
API Top-Up
Programmatic top-up is not supported for security reasons. All payment operations must go through the Console or a designated billing admin.
Refunds
To request a refund of unused balance, contact [email protected]. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
Credits used for API requests are non-refundable.
